Durham started off with a high tempo and really tested Wynyard early on then finally got their rewards when a great strike from Jamie Gibson from the edge of the 18 yard box found the top right hand corner of the goal.

Durham had the majority of possession and made it pay when they got their second just before half time with a good run and cross from Gideon Kanyondo found Benjamin Jackson who’s glancing header found the bottom left hand corner.

The second half had the same feel as the first with Durham having alot of possession and finally seeing the game out.

A good solid team performance to end the year in new manager Gary Innes first game which will see the team spending the festive period at the top of the league with the next fixture taking place on the 8th of January.
